Who we are

What we collect through this website

• The enquiry form: your name, phone number and email address, who the care is for, the kind of care you are looking at, when it might start, how it is likely to be funded, whether you would like to visit, and anything you write in the notes box.
• The brochure form: your name and email address, and if you choose to give them, your phone number and who you are looking for.
• Phone calls and emails: whatever you tell us so that we can help.

We do not collect anything from you silently. The site does not use advertising cookies, analytics cookies or tracking across other websites.

Information about health

The notes box may include details about a relative's health or care needs. This is special category data under UK data protection law. We use it only to answer your enquiry and to judge whether we can look after your relative properly. We rely on your explicit consent, given when you tick the box on the form, and we do not keep it longer than we need to. If your relative becomes a resident, we will give you separate information then about how their care records are kept.

Why we use your information, and the legal basis

• Answering your enquiry and arranging a visit: because you have asked us to, and because it is in our legitimate interest to respond to people who contact the home.
• Sending you the brochure: with your consent, given on the form.
• Keeping a record of enquiries: in our legitimate interest, so that we know what we have told you and do not have to ask twice.

We will not add you to a marketing list, and we will not ring you unless you have asked us to or the enquiry needs it.

Who we share it with

Nobody, for marketing. The email service and enquiry system that handle the forms act on our instructions as processors. We may share information with the Care Quality Commission, the local authority or other bodies where the law requires it.

How long we keep it

Enquiry and brochure details are kept for twelve months after our last contact with you, then deleted, unless the person you enquired about becomes a resident, in which case the information becomes part of their care record.

Cookies

This website does not set analytics or advertising cookies. WordPress may set a cookie only if you log in to manage the site.

Some pages show a video from YouTube. Nothing loads from YouTube until you press play. Once you do, the video plays from YouTube's privacy-enhanced service, and YouTube (part of Google) may set its own cookies.

Your rights

You can ask to see the information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, ask us to stop using it, and withdraw consent at any time. Email infos@stronvarhome.co.uk or write to the address above.

Complaints

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, please complain to us first at infos@stronvarhome.co.uk. We will acknowledge your complaint within 30 days and tell you the outcome. If you are still not satisfied, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.

Changes

If we change how we use your information, we will update this page and the date at the top.
